1/14/01 The name is Brewbaker... Matthew Ryan Brewbaker. Some call me Brew, others Mateo, but you can just call me Matt. It's my fourth year attending the notorious school of Burlingame High, and like most other seniors, I can't wait to leave. Off to college in just one year? Cool! For some reason there's just something about college that appeals to me more than highschool. What could it be? Could it be the right to vote? No. Could it be because I hate highschool? No. Could it be the supposed beer chugging marathons at toga parties? ...maybe. Or possibly College is just something new for a change. To tell the truth I'm not sure. (It's probably just me thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the college application.) What I do between 7:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. monday thru friday I can't complain about highschool; it's treated me well. Besides for the repetitive studying and homework - which we can all relate to - highschool can be a great place to meet people and become active in organizations. I'm a participant in many of BHS's organizations. I belong to the Young Manufacturing Entrepreneur Club. I'm a member of the Student Impact Team. I am an athlete in Track and Field. I am Vice President of the Burlingame High School Band and am actively participating in all of the following: the marching band, the advanced band, the Jazz Band, the talent show House Band and the annual spring musical Pit Band. Of course having this many involvements does have it's downs too. I can gather up a sleep defecit of about 25 hours a week! (Which I so lazily pay-up during the weekends) Current courses: period class teacher 00 advanced band Mr. Kimura 1 AP physics Mr. Balmy 2 AP english Mss.
